Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Stephen is a growth and commercialisation leader with more than 25 years turning technology-enabled propositions into revenue across consulting, corporate and venture environments. Previously Partner and UK&I Growth, Venturing & Innovation Practice Lead at Sia Partners, where he built and ran the practice to more than 30 consultants and £5m+ annual revenue at over 40% contribution margin.

His work has focused on turning emerging opportunities into commercially viable businesses: launching Arqiva's hybrid connectivity and analytics venture to first revenue in nine months; helping launch Stream, adopted by 16 UK water companies; commercialising Fujitsu's quantum-inspired Digital Annealer; and leading AI programmes for EDF Energy and Virgin Media O2 associated with more than £30m in projected annual savings. Earlier roles include Director and COO of Inzenka, alongside senior positions at ?What If! Innovation, Tiscali, Cable & Wireless, the BBC and L.E.K. Consulting.

At Triggerfish Ventures, Stephen works with leadership teams to identify new sources of growth, commercialise AI and emerging technologies, and take opportunities from customer validation through investment case, launch and scale.

Tony Barnett

Tony Barnett

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Tony is a strategy, innovation and transformation leader with more than 30 years' experience combining senior corporate leadership at O2 and British Gas with more than a decade advising major organisations through his own consultancy, Idea Steer.

At O2, Tony spent 14+ years in senior leadership roles across strategy, transformation, innovation and commercial development. He led O2's five-year transformation plan and governance for programmes with combined multi-year benefits of more than £2bn, set commercial strategies for 4G and O2 Wifi, led the brand aspects of the UK iPhone launch and oversaw acquisition programmes that brought in 1.5m+ customers and £900m in revenue. Earlier, at British Gas, he led the launch of its electricity supply business, which grew to 2.6m customers, and led pricing initiatives that added more than £100m to the bottom line.

At Triggerfish Ventures, Tony helps clients identify where to play, define compelling customer and commercial propositions and translate strategic ambition into practical execution, particularly around innovation, commercial transformation and building the organisational momentum to turn new ideas into business impact.

Aby Handler

Aby Handler

Director, Product & Commercial Growth

Aby is a product, proposition and commercial growth leader with more than 25 years turning new market opportunities into scalable products, services and ventures, with particular depth in technology, telecoms, utilities and complex B2B markets.

For 18+ years across Inzenka and Sia, Aby led growth and innovation programmes for major global organisations across the full commercialisation journey — from opportunity identification through proposition development, business-model design, validation, partner ecosystems and go-to-market. Earlier he held senior product and proposition leadership positions at Carphone Warehouse/TalkTalk, OneTel and Telco Global/Viatel/AT&T, including work at Carphone Warehouse/TalkTalk that generated more than £8m in increased margin.

At Triggerfish Ventures, Aby leads product, proposition and commercial growth work, helping clients bridge the gap between identifying an opportunity and taking it to market. Recent work has increasingly focused on commercialising emerging technologies and GenAI: translating capability into propositions and building the partnerships and routes to market required to scale them.

Adam Male

Adam Male

Director, Revenue & Growth

Adam is a revenue and growth leader with 20+ years founding, scaling and operating technology-enabled businesses, combining entrepreneurship with senior operational leadership.

Adam founded Urban.co.uk in 2008 as one of the UK's early online estate and letting agencies, raised external investment and led its sale in 2018. He subsequently bought the business back, returned it to profitability and achieved a second exit to Howsy in 2019. He then served as Chief Revenue and Operating Officer at Mashroom, a PropTech and FinTech business, where he built a data-driven approach to customer acquisition combining content, technology, AI and customer profiling. Earlier in his career, Adam worked in distressed bank debt and claims at Goldman Sachs and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

At Triggerfish Ventures, Adam focuses on revenue growth and commercial execution: helping clients build scalable sales and customer-acquisition models, optimise commercial operations and translate new propositions into sustainable revenue.

Alessandra Ciniero, PhD

Alessandra Ciniero, PhD

Director, AI & Deep Tech Commercialisation

Alessandra is an AI and deep-tech commercialisation leader whose career combines advanced science and engineering with product development, venture building and go-to-market strategy across computer vision, local LLMs, edge AI and quantum-inspired technologies.

She is founder and CEO of T-Baton, an AI and augmented-reality platform capturing expert operational knowledge for reuse at scale. Prior to founding T-Baton, Alessandra worked within Sia Partners' Growth & Innovation practice, commercialising emerging technologies including AI and quantum-inspired product development with Fujitsu, and led partner-ecosystem, pricing and go-to-market design across utilities, infrastructure and telecommunications. Earlier she was a Research Fellow at Imperial College London, holding both a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship and an EPSRC Fellowship.

At Triggerfish Ventures, Alessandra focuses on AI and deep-tech commercialisation: helping clients identify where emerging technologies create meaningful customer and business value, validate the opportunity and build a practical path from technical capability to market adoption.

Larry Zentner

Larry Zentner

Senior Advisor, Data, AI & Venture Commercialisation

Larry is a senior data, technology and venture leader with more than 25 years creating, commercialising and scaling new businesses. He is founder and former CEO of Inzenka, where he helped build and launch more than 100 ventures across technology, healthcare, energy, financial services, defence, manufacturing and consumer markets.

At Inzenka, around seven in ten ventures went on to trade successfully, with a number becoming transformational businesses. Larry has since held senior leadership positions including Senior Partner at Sia Partners, Chief Data Officer at Trellisi and UK Managing Director of HTEC Group, and is currently CEO of Elevate Data. His work sits at the intersection of data, AI, technology and commercial value creation.
